He is listed as a 25 year old Bank Clerk resident of Muswell Hill and is one of five of the first initiates of this newly formed lodge. Alongside him in the register, initiated and passed on the same dates is HENRY THOMAS ORDISH, who was killed 1918. The contribution record shows his war service which is followed by "Killed in Action 4/11/16."
The lodge was primarily a lodge of Old Boys of the Mercers' School at Holborn, and experienced a decline in membership in the years following the closure of that school. The final meeting of the lodge was on 9th November, 1995.
