Registered on the Medical and Dental Students List 7th May 1903 for study at the University of Edinburgh. M.B. Ch.B.Ed. (1908). Professional Soldier. Awarded the C.I.E. in the King's Birthday honours of 1939, when he was the resident Surgeon at Hyderabad.
He went to George Watson's College.
