Detail :

Trinidad SS was a 2,592grt defensively-armed British Merchant ship built in 1884 by Laing, Deptford, England as a passenger/cargo steamer. She was originally built as 2,162 tons but was lengthened in 1893 and became 2,592 tons. On the 22nd March 1918 when on route from Le Havre for Liverpool she was torpedoed by German submarine U-101 and sunk when 12 miles East from Codling Light Vessel. 39 liveslost including Master.
