He went on to become a petitioning and joining member of Venables Llewellyn Lodge No. 3756 at its consecration on the 3rd June 1916, and for which lodge he appears in the 1933 Scroll. Although no war service is expressly noted, it shows he was "presumed killed by Enemy Action Augst 1917."
