Initiate of Prince of Wales Lodge No. 1003, Jersey when he was a 30 year old Sergeant. He was a member when he died, recorded as "Killed in Action (date unknown)", followed by what appears to be a near indecipherable "11 May?". He was also a joining member of Lebong Lodge No. 3321 on 7th June, 1913, having been promoted by this time to Colour Sergeant. He was a member when he was "Killed in Action 1916."
