43518 Lance Corporal James Walter Aldridge.
He enlisted for service into the Northumberland Fusiliers.
His service is dominated by medical issues and it is those pre-existing medical issues which ultimately and tragically led to his early death from asthma and heart trouble.
Probate ALDRIDGE James Walter of 32 Victor-street Bradford died 2 April 1919 Administration Wakefield 16 May to Samuel Aldridge weaving overlooker. Effects £345 4s. 3d.
He is commemorated at the family grave at Nab Wood Cemetery & Crematorium.

Listed as a 26 year old musical director at the time of his initiation in 1916 into Percy Lodge whilst resident at 68 Falmouth Road, Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Lodge records state that he was injured in September 1918 and died six months later. The contribution register show that he "Died 2nd Apl/19."
