It also groups those who through Post Traumatic Stress committed suicide as a result of their experiences.

The casualty list of the Royal Navy shows: "Isis, old light cruiser : NOTT, Evan P, Ty/Engineer Sub Lieutenant, RNR, illness." His death was reported in The Scotsman on 8th March and in the Army and Navy Gazette on the 11th March 1916.
