Mike: HMS Cormorant was a 1,130 ton displacement Osprey-class, 6-gun, sloop launched at Chatham on 12 September 1877. With 950 hp, it was capable of 11.3 knots. Cormorant later became a receiving ship at Gibraltar and was scrapped in 1949. |
