The 1921 book describes a Captain John R. Richardson of Earl of Chester Lodge, a Steward of the Lodge. This is not his first or previous Lodge, which is reported to be 157. Inspecting the ledger of Bedford Lodge No. 157 has failed to reveal an entry.
He joined Earl of Chester Lodge No. 157 2nd March, 1917 when he is listed J. Richard Richardson, an Army Captain and resident at Hale. War service is shown followed by "Died Oct/18."
