Son of Elisha and Susan Richard of Town Hill (1891). When he was 12 in 1887, he was charged by the Police at Truro for "Disorderly conduct in Castle Hill on Sunday evening 6th inst. Pleaded guilty and discharged with a caution."Service Life:
