In the contribution record of the lodge at United Grand Lodge of England it shows that Louis was part of the Australian Imperial Force and that his rank was Captain. His name second name is listed as "Emin", which appears odd, but the final annotation despite saying " Killed in action Aug/18" was killed later in October. He did not get the chance to be raised and therefore was a Fellowcraft at the time of his death.
