Moved on mobilisation to St Albans area. 10 March 1915 : landed at Le Havre. 11 May 1915 : formation became 141st Brigade in 47th (2nd London) Division. |

Although many perished in times of national conflict and in the service of their country, many more survived including those interned as Prisoners of War. Became a Major and emigrated to Australia. Holder of the Military Cross. Born in Poplar 1878 and died in 1958 in Perth, Australia. As he is recorded on the Roll of Honour 1921 and 1933, it begs the question, did Major Webb leave everything behind for a new life?
