Mike: Sarnia was indeed torpedoed and sunk by a U-boat, U 65 under Pour le M?rite winner Gustav Sie? off Alexandria. The armed boarding steamer went down relatively quickly and the survivors weren't picked up for two days. 53 casualties. |
