Born at Aylesbury in 1879 to Mary and Joseph. Proprietor and manager of the Crown Hotel, Market Square, Aylesbury, a position which he took on from his father. He lived in and around the Crown Hotel for most of his 40 years, growing up with his elder sister Kate.Service Life:
