Employed as a Company Sergeant Major and resident at Queenboro upon initiation in 1916 into Adam's Lodge No. 158 in Kent. The annotation in the record was that he was "Killed 20th September 1917," so not sure how he could have been overlooked for the original working of the Masonic Roll of Honour in 1921. It had been corrected and he appears listed on the 1933 Scroll at Great Queen Street.
