10/1130 Major Arthur Cecil Temperley, New Zealand Infantry Brigade Major (with open book) looks at the notes of British War Correspondents Mr Massey from the Telegraph and Mr Lawrence from Reuters (wearing armbands) at Moscar Camp near the Suez Canal, February/March 1915. Major Temperley was on loan from the British Norfolk Regiment and returning to the unit on 30 May 1917. While with the New Zealanders he was to earn a Distinguished Service Order as General Staff Officer Grade Two (GSO2) with the New Zealand Infantry Division Headquarters in France and was mentioned five times in Dispatches
