Early Life :
Son of Sampson Samuel and although his name was Barnett Bertram Samuel, was commonly known as Bertram Barnett Samuel.He was registered on the list of Dentists with the Royal College of Surgeons on the 2nd September, 1907, whilst resident at his father's house at 127, Alexandra Road, St. John's Wood, London. In the post-war years was awarded the Freedom of the City of London as part of the Worshipful Company of Barbers.
He was resident for some time of 76 Wimpole Street, Marylebone. W.1. and by 1939 was living at Flat 43-44, 20 Hallam Street, Marylebone.
