Son of General John Cox CB and Mrs Mary Hall Cox.He had a sister - Caroline Elizabeth Ada Cox and 3 other siblings.
Born in Norwood, Surrey.
Education & Career :
He won a scholarship to St Paul's School, and entering the Army Class, left in April 1893.
He became a Clerk on the staff of the Grand Secretaries Office, Freemasons Hall.

He died on active service at the Third General Southern Hospital, Oxford, on May 13th, 1917.
