He is commemorated at the Masonic Hall at Wallsend, where 5 brethren are listed:
PODMORE, DAGLISH, ARMSTRONG, BROOMFIELD and MIDDLEMISS - four from Wallsend Lodge No. 2703 and one from Holy Cross Lodge. The memorial was dedicated by R.W.Bro.Colonel C.W. Napier Clavering, P.G.M (Northumberland), on the 29th September 1920.
