Petitioning and Founder member of the Sir Edward Clarke Lodge No. 3601 whose founding Master bears the same name. Horace was joined on the 16th April 1912 and in the records of United Grand Lodge cited to be "Killed in Action 21st March 1918". His mother Lodge was Earl of Lathom No. 1922, when it met at Camberwell, him being initiated in 1906 and resigning in July 1914.
