Henry appears to have joined Freemasonry in the Irish Constitution, apparently being intitiated into Dibula Lodge No. 298 at Hatton, Ceylon. There is no record of leaving this Lodge or of his death. Strangely, the same dates for his progress are recorded against Adams Peak Lodge No. 2656, also in Hatton, Ceylon but within the English Constitution. He subsequently joined St Johns Lodge of Colombo in 1910, also in the English Constitution.
