  Detail :

 11th (Service) Battalion (Pioneers) Formed at Seaforth on 23 August 1914 as part of K1 and attached as Army Troops to 14th (Light) Division. 11 January 1915 : converted into Pioneer Bn. Landed in France on 30 May 1915. 27 April 1918 : reduced to a cadre. returned to England on 17 June and absorbed into 15th Bn, the Loyal North Lancashire Regiment.
